Running for a Cause: Team Silicon at the 2024 Pequeno Príncipe Race
At Silicon, we believe in sustainable technologies as catalysts for positive change. But beyond delivering cost savings and sustainability to our clients through solar energy and LED lighting, we also believe in making a meaningful impact in the community.
This is why we proudly sponsored the 2024 Pequeno Príncipe Race and Walk, held at Afonso Botelho Square in Curitiba, Paraná, at 7 a.m. on July 14th. All funds raised by the event supported the assistance and research activities of Pequeno Príncipe Hospital, ensuring that children receive access to the best medical care tailored to their needs.
The hospital, recognized as one of the top 250 pediatric medical institutions worldwide and the best in Latin America, hosted the race once again after a four-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to our sponsorship, the Silicon team actively participated in the event, covering 5km and 10km routes. Our employees went #ON for the Pequeno Príncipe cause, and engaging in group physical activity fostered team collaboration, unity, and well-being.
Ultimately, the race was far more than a competition; it was an opportunity to reinforce our commitment to social responsibility while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for all.
