Kemi Kinzo Project: Silicon Supporting Animal Protection in Lapa

We see social and environmental challenges as our shared responsibility, and we are dedicated to making a difference while spreading our values and desire to help others.
As part of this commitment, we established a partnership with Kemi Kinzo, an independent animal protector in Lapa, Paraná. Kemi cares for over a hundred vulnerable animals on her property, many of which were victims of abuse or found living on the streets.
In a gesture of solidarity, we donated 300 kilograms of food to support the animals in her care, ensuring they receive proper nutrition for a healthy recovery.

It is important to remember that animal abandonment and abuse are crimes, as established by Federal Law No. 9.605/98. Recent legislation (Federal Law No. 14.064/20) increased penalties, raising the maximum detention term from one year to five years for offenders.
Responsible adoption, animal sterilization, and awareness of the responsibilities of pet ownership are crucial. We must support those who dedicate their time and energy to protecting vulnerable animals and take responsibility as citizens.
