The project began with two objectives: reduce energy costs and modernize the stadium’s lighting infrastructure. To meet the client’s needs, we developed an integrated approach combining photovoltaic energy and LED lighting. This unique solution, blending two systems, boosted performance while lowering costs:
Throughout the project, we replaced all metal halide lighting with LED, ensuring higher energy efficiency and improved nighttime illumination. Additionally, the installation of the photovoltaic system enabled the stadium to generate its own energy, significantly reducing reliance on the electrical grid and increasing operational autonomy.
These upgrades marked an important milestone for the club and the stadium, which under new management, has prioritized innovation and sustainability.
To enhance energy efficiency and sustainability, we replaced the old lighting system, installed solar panels, and integrated LED luminaires. This transformation improved lighting quality, benefiting evening training sessions and matches. The new infrastructure also enhanced visibility for online broadcasts.

While total consumption reached 6,130 kWh, billed consumption was 4,455 kWh—demonstrating a significant reduction in reliance on the electrical grid.

With the photovoltaic system in place, Capão Raso Stadium achieved a monthly energy cost reduction of 44.7%. This reflects the direct and positive impact of the initiative on the club’s financial health. Funds previously allocated to energy bills can now be redirected to other sustainability initiatives prioritized by the club’s new management.

From an environmental standpoint, the project significantly reduced CO₂ emissions, avoiding a total of 1.91 tons. This is equivalent to planting 5.32 trees per month, highlighting the positive impact on minimizing the club’s carbon footprint and promoting a healthier environment for the community.
